Today is Day One of Home Alone. There’re endless house chores to be done. I just hope that my brothers won’t mess the place up so I don’t have to do so much packing tomorrow. My parents didn’t leave much fresh food at home so I’ve very little cooking choices and the rain isn’t helping things so I can’t get out to get nice stuff to cook. So I had no choice but to make fish porridge for myself. Bleh.
Life’s back to the boring routine. But at least I had my fill of fun on friday night. Good friends, good music, good food, good life! :) I definitely can’t wait for our Bangkok trip with the classmates after the A’s. :) Neither can I wait to get my driving license and have endless food escapades. :)
Btw, I’ve been so used to encapsulating what I wanna say in 140 characters that typing this entry out was…labourious.
Last two papers…my right pinky hurts like crap.
It’s nice when you and your good friends are able to sit down for an unhurried chat. I had brunch with Scott on sunday, catching up and swapping stories. And I’m having a proper conversation with Sam after weeks. :((( I’m so sorry!
Oh, and my thighs aren’t hurting that much from Will Run anymore.
Really hope that this can take off. Trip over prom, anytime!
I am so getting fat and sad because
It’s the last day of school tomorrow! Finally…the week has been especially long with ‘optional’ night lessons. It has been filled with lots of sensational news hahaha!
Definitely can’t wait for Prelims to be over, when we can finally start on the overdued breaks over ice-cream, drinks, good food, awesome music with good friends. That’s the life man: good fun, good food, good friends!
Meanwhile, back to the books! 38 more days to Prelims.
July is a make-Tingyi-poor month because there’re so many good pals having their birthdays!
Happy birthday Best Friend.
Happy birthday Samaria.
Anyway, College Day today was such a bummer.
Today was really funny and good! Apparently, my classmates wanted to ignore me cause I pangseh-ed them for two days hahaha!
After a twist of events at lunch, we all adopted Christian names!
Tiffany: “Eh Micheal, Micheal!”
Micheal: “Huh what Micheal? Micheal Jordan die already!”
All: *stunned* “HUH?!”
Micheal: “Ooops, I meant Micheal Jackson.”
-
Joseph: *eats some clorets* “I think I can pick up some girls now.”
Michelle/Michiko: *rolls eyes* “Yeah you can go: Hi, I’m *breathe escapes from mouth*.”
-
Sheila: “I think she haven’t talked for two days that’s why she’s got so many things to say.”
Cause I’m down with sinus infection. Here’s to more boredom being in bed cause the fever makes you so weak that you can’t do pretty much (and important) things, like STUDYING.
It’s just 7 weeks more to prelims. And once the prelims papers are done, it’ll just be a 11.5 weeks sprint to the A’s. Then in 11 days, I’d have completed 18 years of education.
Sounds fast? It’s faster than you know it.
Today is the first time in the week that I’m having dinner at home. I feel really bad about not being home for dinners enough.
Anyways, in addition to all the fun and good things happening, I’ve been having incredibly hilarious and strange dreams; dreams involving King Koil beds, theives, cops and guns (machiam drama serial) and dreaming that I met Phil at a bus stop.

HK desserts with the SRC.
I think these 48 hours have been enlightening. And I’m thankful and grateful for you guys, especially D and G for those light-hearted and hilarious conversations that made me feel much better.
On a side note, I’m really looking forward to tomorrow! Well, not the Geog Trial Paper in the morning but I’m meeting Samaria for lunch! And then dinner at Chomps. Oh, and a NEL dinner which I really hope to see Phil. And as usual, Sunday brunch (haha Kim, i know). (:
Okay I’m really excited alright, whee! I miss you Sam!
You know you’ve been studying too much Geography that whenever you think of ‘roll’, you instantly think of traction and saltation; how the rivers transport rocks and boulders. It also happens that whenever you look up in the sky, you immediately think of the ITCZ. And how you’ll know that when it’s smouldering hot in the morning, it will rain in the afternoon. Or how cracks in the pavement might be caused by biological weathering. (Nerdy.)
You know that you’ve been having much fun when the week passes by in a breeze and you spend hours every day enjoying the company of friends and family.
You know that you’ve been putting on lots of weight when you count the number of meals that have been savoury, topped with beer and desserts.
You know that you’ve been feeling guilty when you realised that all of the above, except the Geography portion, shouldn’t be too much of an occurence.

My mid-years results shows that God is faithful. And He’ll continue to be, even if I don’t do as well in the next semester.
On a side note, G is back from the USA!
I really wanna visit these places someday.

Maldives.

Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Antarctica
